The west, north-east, east, or north are the ideal orientations to buy a house because they are considered auspicious. The main door should not be facing north-west, south-west, south, or south-east. In the southeast direction, stay away from the main entryway. A leading metal pyramid and a lead helix can be used to correct a door towards the south or south-west.

Vastu for Kitchen:

As per the Vastu, the main bedroom should face southwest and be occupied by the family's head of household. If the house has multi-story, the optimal orientation for the top level is southwest, and it should ideally be larger than the other rooms in the house. 

The ideal location for a bed in a room is along the south or west wall, with the head pointing west or south and the legs pointing north or east.

Vatu for Kids room:

The children's room is an important factor when choosing a home. The optimum orientation for a child's room is either northwest or northeast, as this corner receives constant fresh light & air and is regarded as beneficial to the child's growth and development. It's also important to consider the wall colors, which should preferably be pale yellow or could be light green.

Vastu for Prayer room:

Make sure the prayer room is facing either east or north in your home. It should not be near the toilet since it will attract negative energy. Even if you don't have a choice, it's best to just keep the doors shut all the time or use the washroom as little as possible.

Vastu for Water storage:

The water tank must be located in the northeast area of the house or apartment you are considering purchasing. The sun's direct UV rays successfully purify the water, therefore this is a scientific approach. Also, the water tank really shouldn't be made of plastic and should be painted a dark color to allow for optimum solar absorption.
