Understanding The Chakras- Part 1

Chakras have become more prominent in recent years, whether you've heard them spoken by your yoga teacher or seen them mentioned when browsing for gemstones. The word "chakra" literally means "wheel" or "disc" in Sanskrit. The Hopi, Inca, Maya, and other primitive cultures all have references to chakras.

What are chakras exactly?

These mental-spiritual wheels are energy centers that go from the bottom of the spine to the top — or crown — of a skull. Movement, breath techniques, meditations, visualization, intent, and lifestyle behaviors that promote well-being can all be used to work with the chakras.

You'll also want to work on balancing your chakras, as these, like other energy resources, can become exhausted or hyperactive as a result of your lifestyle, behaviors, and emotions.

Chakras are direct to various energy centers in your body that correspond to exact nerve bundles and inner organs.

What Are The Seven Chakras?

There are seven chakras, each of which connects to distinct parts of our emotional, energetic, bodily, and mental existence. Every chakra is also connected with a color.

  • The First Chakra

  • The Root Chakra is located at the tail of the spine. It is related to the color red. The Root Chakra links us to the soil and our survival instincts and procreate, as well as a sense of safety, or, on the other hand, a sense of trauma, exhaustion, or abandonment.

  • The Second Chakra
  • The Sacral Chakra is located just below the abdominal button. It is related to the color orange. The Sacral Chakra is functionally tied to the digestive system, the kidneys, and the urinary tract, and it is associated with our sentiments of power, money, and self-esteem, or, on the other hand, fear and conflict.

  • The Third Chakra
  • Known as the Solar Plexus Chakra, is located at the Solar Plexus. It is connected with the color yellow. The Third Chakra is where we keep track of how we use or use power, as well as how we were used or mistreated. When it's working properly, it shows up as bravery and endurance, or even as a sense of victimhood, guilt, anger, and remorse.

  • The Fourth Chakra
  • This chakra also referred to as the Heart Chakra, is placed over your heart in the center of your chest. It is connected with the color green. That's where we hold information about love, hope, and compassion, or where we keep wrath, solitude, despair, rejection, and deceit, in the opposite.
    • The Fifth Chakra or the Throat Chakra is located at the base of the throat. It is connected with the color blue. We collect information regarding communication in the Fifth Chakra. We either talk easily or find it nearly impossible to voice our opinions while we are working actively. This usually happens when we are telling the truth to somebody.

  • The Sixth Chakra
    • This chakra, also known as the Third Eye Chakra, is placed just above & between brows. It has a connection to the color indigo. We hold information about self-realization, sensitivity, and intellect in the Sixth Chakra, or delusions, ineptitude, and insecurities in the opposite.

    The Seventh Chakra

The Crown Chakra is placed at the top of your head and is also referred to as the Seventh Chakra. Violet is a color connected with it. We hold information about generosity, honesty, and devotion to spirituality in the Seventh Chakra, or mental conditions and sarcasm in the opposite.

    Conclusion:

The chakras are the fundamental sources of spiritual energies that our body consists of. It deals with all the emotional, mental, spiritual, and behavioral ups and downs that we experience during our lifetime.
