Is Pradosh Vrat a way to fulfill all desires?
Lord shiva has a famous name given to him by his devotees which is “Bholenath,” someone who is innocent. He has a personality that shower blessing on each and everyone who prays to him. Such as this highly sacred fast is Pradosh. Pradosh Vrat occurs twice a month in both Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha, on the 13th Day or Trayodashi day of each month. Trayodashi "thirteen" refers to the thirteenth day of a Hindu lunar phase or fortnight. Trayodashi days occur on the thirteenth day of the moon's 'brilliant phase' and 'dark phase,' respectively, of each month. There is a total of 24 Pradosh Vrat in total each year.

Pradosh Vrat is advised if you seek Lord Shiva's blessings. On Pradosh Tithi, if an individual worship Lord Shiva, they will obtain the blessings of keeping healthy and Bholenath will grant all your requests.

Pradosh refers to the twilight hour, which is of three hours that have one and a half hours shortly before and after sunset when Lord Shiva is said to be happiest and inclined to give what is asked of him. As a result, the best time for Pradosh meditation and ritual is during an auspicious three-hour period that occurs 1.5 hours before and after sunset.

Various types of Pradosh Vrat:

Pradosh falling on a Monday (Moon/Soma Day), is known as Soma Pradosham, and soma is one of the names of Lord Shiva.

Bhauma Pradosh Vrat is the combination of Tuesday, which is controlled by Bhauma or Mars, and Trayodashi, or the 13th Lunar day. People with Mars doshas in their horoscope can observe this Vrat to be rid of any obstacles/issues caused by Mars.

Just like this Saumya Vaar Pradosh for Wednesday, Guruvaar Pradosh for Thursday, Bhrigu Vaar Pradosh for Friday, and Bhanu Vaar Pardosh for Sunday.

The Pradosh falls on a Saturday, the day is known as "Shani Pradosh" or "Shani Trayodashi." Worshiping Lord Shiva during Pradosh is particularly auspicious in our day and age. The rites are traditionally performed around twilight when Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are said to be in the most favorable mood.

According to the Skanda Purana, a devotee who follows the Pradosh Vrat never suffers from a shortage of prosperity for 100 lives.

Worshiping Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati on Pradosh days is certain to cleanse us of all our sins from past birth.

According to our Puranas, Lord Shiva praised Mars or Bhauma for his hard penance (tapas) by bestowing upon him the status of a planet and his own Loka, known as
"Mangal Loka."

Mangal is another name for Mars that means "auspiciousness."

Worship and Pradosh Vrat

Proper bathing and cleansing of the worship place must precede the day of Pradosh. Furthermore, you must fast during the day while being honest and meditating. Set up the idol of Lord Shiva or Shivling in the prayer chamber and present Ganga Jal, red and yellow flowers, Akshata or rice, Dhatura, Sandalwood, cow's milk, hemp, fruits, incense, etc.

After that, recite the Om Namah Shivaya Mantra. If possible, read Shiva Chalisa as well. After worshipping, conduct Lord Shiva aarti with ghee in clay lamps and give prasad/offering to everybody. You might meditate on this day to achieve inner tranquility. After showering the next morning, only open or break the fast.

Pradesh Vrat's Beliefs

It is said that during Pradosh, Lord Shiva is dancing in Mount Kailash's Rajat Bhawan. During this moment, the deity praises God's existence.

Those who fast are cleansed of their sins and humiliation from their previous lives. It is also believed that if this Vrat falls on Monday, whoever performs this fast would achieve their goals.

Pradesh Vrat's Beliefs

If this fast occurs on Tuesday, the fasting observer is free of ailments; if it falls on Wednesday, all of the observer's wishes are accomplished; if it happens on Thursday, all of the observer's enemies are killed; and if it falls on Friday, it is known as Bhruguwara Pradosh. This Pradosh Vrat brings good prosperity. If the fast falls on a Saturday, the individual will always be healthy.
Pradosh Vrat's Advantages

Chandra or Moon is associated with both Ekadashi and Pradosh dates. A person's life eventually improves in many ways if they fast on one or both of these days and consume only fruits on these dates. They improve their health, social standing, peace, and skills.

Every person is affected by the moon's location. Pradosh Vrat raises the moon's position in the horoscope. It also benefits the mental health and lunar elements of the body.

It is claimed that the position of Venus improves as the position of the Moon improves and that the location of Mercury likewise improves when Venus improves. As a consequence, three planets begin to provide favorable effects. The moon promotes riches and prosperity, Venus promotes feminine happiness and prosperity, and Mercury promotes work and business opportunities.

Not just the moon, but also these fasts, might greatly minimize the effect of other harsh planets. Venus and Mercury will improve, while Guru, Mars, and the Sun will also have a positive impact.

Both fasts are associated with the advancement of the moon and the awakening of destiny. Thus, when a person worships and devotes themselves throughout their fast, these two provide good benefits.
